Psalms 116:2-12

Because He has 1inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
The 2cords of death encompassed me And the terrors of Sheol came upon me; I found distress and sorrow.
Then 3I called upon the name of the LORD: "O LORD, I beseech You, 4save my life!"
5Gracious is the LORD, and 6righteous; Yes, our God is 7compassionate.
The LORD preserves 8the simple; I was 9brought low, and He saved me.
Return to your 10rest, O my soul, For the LORD has 11dealt bountifully with you.
For You have 12rescued my soul from death, My eyes from tears, My feet from stumbling.
I shall walk before the LORD In the 13land of the living.
I 14believed when I said, "I am 15greatly afflicted."
I 16said in my alarm, "17All men are liars."
What shall I 18render to the LORD For all His 19benefits toward me?
