O LORD, You have 1searched me and known me.
You 2knowawhen I sitdown and bwhen I rise up; You 3understand my thought from afar.
You c4scrutinize my dpath and my lyingdown, And are intimatelyacquainted with all my ways.
4eEven before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O LORD, You 5know it all.
You have 6enclosed me behind and before, And 7laid Your hand upon me.
Such 8knowledge is 9toowonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it.
710Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
811If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in fSheol, behold, 12You are there.
If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotestpart of the sea,
10Eventhere Your hand will 13lead me, And Your righthand will layhold of me.
If I say, "Surely the 14darkness will goverwhelm me, And the lightaround me will be night,"
12Even the 15darkness is not darkhto You, And the night is as bright as the day. 16Darkness and light are alike to You.
For You 17formed my iinwardparts; You 18wove me in my mother'swomb.
I will givethanks to You, for jI am fearfully and wonderfully made; 19Wonderful are Your works, And my soulknows it verywell.
My k20frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfullywrought in the 21depths of the earth;
Your 22eyes have seen my unformedsubstance; And in 23Your book were allwritten The 24days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.
17Howprecious also are Your 25thoughts to me, O God! Howvast is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would 26outnumber the sand. When 27I awake, I am still with You.
19O that You would 28slay the wicked, O God; 29Depart from me, therefore, 30men of bloodshed.
For they 31speaklagainst You wickedly, And Your enemiesm32take Your name in vain.
Do I not 33hate those who hate You, O LORD? And do I not 34loathe those who rise up against You?
I hate them with the utmosthatred; They have become my enemies.
2335Search me, O God, and know my heart; 36Try me and know my anxiousthoughts;
