The LORD also 1thundered in the heavens, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.
14
He 2sent out His arrows, and scattered them, And lightning flashes in abundance, and arouted them.
15
Then the 3channels of water appeared, And the foundations of the world were blaid bare At Your 4rebuke, O LORD, At the blast of the 5breath of Your nostrils.
16
He 6sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of 7many waters.
17
He 8delivered me from my strong enemy, And from those who hated me, for they were 9too mighty for me.
18
They confronted me in 10the day of my calamity, But 11the LORD was my stay.
19
He brought me forth also into a 12broad place ; He rescued me, because 13He delighted in me.
20
The LORD has 14rewarded me according to my righteousness ; According to the 15cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.
21
For I have 16kept the ways of the LORD, And have 17not wickedly departed from my God.
22
For all 18His ordinances were before me, And I did not put away His 19statutes from me.
23
I was also c20blameless with Him, And I 21kept myself from my iniquity.
