18
I will 1give You thanks in the greatcongregation; I will 2praise You among a mightythrong.
19
3Do not let those who are wrongfully4my enemiesrejoice over me; Nor let those 5who hate me withoutcause6winkmaliciously*.
20
For they do not speakpeace, But they devise7deceitfulwordsagainst those who are quiet in the land.
21
They 8opened their mouthwideagainst me; They said, "9Aha, aha, our eyes have seen it!"
22
10You have seen it, O LORD, 11do not keepsilent; O Lord, 12do not be far from me.
23
13Stir up Yourself, and awake to my right And to my cause, my God and my Lord.
24
14Judge me, O LORD my God, according to Your righteousness, And 15do not let them rejoice over me.
25
Do not let them say in their heart, "16Aha, our desire!" Do not let them say, "We have 17swallowed him up!"
26
Let 18those be ashamed and humiliatedaltogether who rejoice at my distress; Let those be 19clothed with shame and dishonor who 20magnify themselves over me.
27
Let them 21shout for joy and rejoice, whofavor22my vindication; And 23let them saycontinually, "The LORD be magnified, Who24delights in the prosperity of His servant."
28
And 25my tongue shall declare Your righteousness And Your praiseallday long.
