Psalms 51:3-13

For I 1know my transgressions, And my sin is ever before me.
2Against You, You only, I have sinned And done what is 3evil in Your sight, So that 4You are justified when You speak And blameless when You judge.
Behold, I was 5brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.
Behold, You desire 6truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will 7make me know wisdom.
Purify me 8with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be 9whiter than snow.
Make me to hear 10joy and gladness, Let the 11bones which You have broken rejoice.
12Hide Your face from my sins And blot out all my iniquities.
13Create in me a 14clean heart, O God, And renew a 15steadfast spirit within me.
16Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your 17Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the 18joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a 19willing spirit.
Then I will 20teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners will be 21converted to You.
