1When the Lamb broke the 1seventhseal, there was silence in heaven for abouthalf an hour.

And I saw2the sevenangelswhostandbeforeGod, and seven3trumpets were given to them.
34Anotherangelcame and stood at the 5altar, holding a 6goldencenser ; and much7incense was given to him, so that he might aadd it to the 8prayers of all the bsaints on the 9goldenaltar which was before the throne.

And 10the smoke of the incense, cwith the prayers of the dsaints, went up beforeGod out of the angel'shand.
5Then the angeletook the censer and 11filled it with the fire of the altar, and 12threw it to the earth ; and there followed13peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an 14earthquake.
615And the sevenangels who had the seventrumpetspreparedthemselves to sound them.

The firstsounded, and there came16hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth ; and 17a third of the earth was burned up, and 18a third of the 19trees were burned up, and all the green20grass was burned up.

The secondangelsounded, and something like a great21mountainburning with fire was thrown into the sea ; and 22a third of the 23seabecameblood,

and 24a third of the creatureswhich were in the seafand hadlife, died ; and a third of the 25ships were destroyed.

The thirdangelsounded, and a greatstar26fell from heaven, burninglike a torch, and it fell on a 27third of the rivers and on the 28springs of waters.

The name of the star is calledWormwood ; and a 29third of the watersbecame30wormwood, and manymendied from the waters, because they were madebitter.

The fourthangelsounded, and a 31third of the 32sun and a third of the 33moon and a 34third of the 35stars were struck, so that a 36third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a 37third of it, and the night in the sameway.
13Then I looked, and I heardgan eagleflying in 38midheaven, saying with a loudvoice, "39Woe, woe, woe to 40those who dwell on the earth, because of the remainingblasts of the trumpet of the 41threeangels who are about to sound !"
