But the 3twowings of the greateagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly4into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for 5a time and times and half a time, from the apresence of the serpent.
And the 6serpentbpouredwaterlike a river out of his mouthafter the woman, so that he might cause her to be sweptaway with the flood.
16cBut the earthhelped the woman, and the earthopened its mouth and drank up the riverwhich the dragondpoured out of his mouth.
17So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and wentoff to 7makewar with the rest of her e8children, who 9keep the commandments of God and 10hold to the testimony of Jesus.
