Revelation 20:5-15 (New American Standard)

View In My Bible
5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. 1This is the first resurrection. 6 2Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the 3second death has no power, but they will be 4priests of God and of Christ and will 5reign with Him for a thousand years.

Satan Freed, Doomed

7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be 6released from his prison, 8 and will come out to 7deceive the nations which are in the 8four corners of the earth, 9Gog and Magog, to 10gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the 11sand of the aseashore. 9 And they 12came up on the bbroad plain of the earth and surrounded the 13camp of the csaints and the 14beloved city, and 15fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And 16the devil who 17deceived them was thrown into the 18lake of fire and dbrimstone, where the 19beast and the 20false prophet are also; and they will be 21tormented day and night forever and ever.

Judgment at the Throne of God

11 Then I saw a great white 22throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose epresence 23earth and heaven fled away, and 24no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the 25great and the small, standing before the throne, and f26books were opened; and another gbook was opened, which is 27the book of life; and the dead 28were judged from the things which were written in the hbooks, 29according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and 30death and Hades 31gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them 32according to their deeds. 14 Then 33death and Hades were thrown into 34the lake of fire. This is the 35second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if ianyone's name was not found written in 36the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
