and He will 1wipeawayeverytear from their eyes; and 2there will nolonger be any death; 3there will nolonger be any mourning, orcrying, orpain; 4the firstthings have passedaway."
And 5He who sits on the thronesaid, "Behold, I am 6makingallthingsnew." And He said, "Write, for 7thesewords are faithful and true."
6Then He said to me, "a8It is done. I am the 9Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. 10I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the 11water of lifewithoutcost.
"12He who overcomes will inheritthesethings, and 13I will be his God and he will be My son.
"14But for the cowardly and bunbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoralpersons and sorcerers and idolaters and allliars, their part will be in 15the lake that burns with fire and cbrimstone, which is the 16seconddeath."
917Thenone of the sevenangels who had the 18sevenbowlsdfull of the 19sevenlastplaguescame and spoke with me, saying, "20Comehere, I will show you the 21bride, the wife of the Lamb."
And 22he carried me awaye23in the Spirit to a great and highmountain, and showed me 24the holycity, Jerusalem, comingdown out of heaven from God,
11having25the glory of God. Her fbrilliance was like a verycostlystone, as a 26stone of 27crystal-clearjasper.
12gIt had a great and highwall, h28with twelve29gates, and at the gatestwelveangels; and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelvetribes of the sons of Israel.
There were threegates on the east and threegates on the north and threegates on the south and threegates on the west.
And the wall of the cityhad30twelvefoundationstones, and on them were the twelvenames of the 31twelveapostles of the Lamb.
