3 and you have aperseverance and have endured 1for My name's sake, and have not grown weary. 4 'But I have this against you, that you have 2left your first love. 5 'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and 3repent and 4do the bdeeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your 5lampstand out of its place -unless you repent. 6 'Yet this you do have, that you hate the deeds of the 6Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 '7He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. 8To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of 9the tree of life which is in the 10Paradise of God.'

Message to Smyrna

8 "And to the angel of the church in 11Smyrna write: 12The first and the last, who c13was dead, and has come to life, says this: 9 'I know your 14tribulation and your 15poverty (but you are 16rich ), and the blasphemy by those who 17say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of 18Satan. 10 'Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be 19tested, and you will have tribulation 20for ten days. dBe 21faithful until death, and I will give you 22the crown of life. 11 '23He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. 24He who overcomes will not be hurt by the 25second death.'

12 "And to the angel of the church in 26Pergamum write: The One who has 27the sharp two-edged sword says this: 13 'I know where you dwell, where 28Satan's throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny 29My faith even in the days of Antipas, My 30witness, My 31faithful one, who was killed among you, 32where Satan dwells.
