For through1the gracegiven to me I say to everyoneamong you 2not to thinkmorehighly of himself than he ought to think; but to thinkso as to havesoundjudgment, as God has allotted to 3each a measure of faith.
For 4just as we havemanymembers in onebody and all the members do not have the samefunction,
5so we, 5who are many, are 6onebody in Christ, and individuallymembersone of another.
Since we havegifts that 7differaccording to the gracegiven to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if8prophecy, aaccording to the proportion of his faith;
7ifb9service, in his serving; or he who 10teaches, in his teaching;
8or he who 11exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with c12liberality; 13he who dleads, with diligence; he who showsmercy, with 14cheerfulness.
Let 15love be withouthypocrisy. 16Abhorwhat is evil; cling to what is good.
Be 17devoted to oneanother in brotherlylove; egivepreference to oneanother18in honor;
not laggingbehind in diligence, 19fervent in spirit, 20serving the Lord;
1221rejoicing in hope, 22persevering in tribulation, 23devoted to prayer,
1324contributing to the needs of the fsaints, g25practicinghospitality.
1426Blessthose who persecutehyou; bless and do not curse.
1527Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
1628Be of the samemindtowardoneanother; 29do not be haughty in mind, but iassociate with the lowly. 30Do not be wise in your ownestimation.
1731Neverpaybackevil for evil to anyone. j32Respectwhat is right in the sight of allmen.
18Ifpossible, 33so far as it depends on you, 34be at peace with allmen.
1935Nevertake your ownrevenge, beloved, but kleaveroom for the wrath of God, for it is written, "36VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord.
"37BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SODOING YOU WILL HEAPBURNINGCOALS ON HIS HEAD."
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcomeevil with good.
