1Now1accept the one who is 2weak in faith, but not for the purpose of passingjudgment on his opinions.
23One person hasfaith that he may eatallthings, but he who is 4weakeatsvegetables only.
3
The one who eats is not to 5regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to 6judge the one who eats, for God has 7accepted him.
48Who are you to judge the aservant of another ? To his ownbmaster he standsorfalls ; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
59One person cregards one dayaboveanother, anotherregardseveryday alike. Eachperson must be 10fullyconvinced in his ownmind.
6
He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats, ddoesso for the Lord, for he 11givesthanks to God ; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and givesthanks to God.
7
For not one of us 12lives for himself, and not onedies for himself ;
8
for if we live, we live for the Lord, orif we die, we die for the Lord ; therefore13whether we liveordie, we are the Lord's.
9
For to this end 14Christdied and lived again, that He might be 15Lordboth of the dead and of the living.
10
But you, why do you judge your brother ? Or you again, why do you 16regard your brother with contempt ? For 17we will allstandbefore the judgmentseat of God.
11
For it is written, "18AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, 19EVERYKNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERYTONGUE SHALL eGIVEPRAISE TO GOD."
12Sothen20eachone of us will give an account of himself to God.
13Therefore let us not 21judgeoneanotheranymore, but ratherdeterminethis -22not to put an obstacleor a stumblingblock in a brother's way.
14
I know and am convincedfin the LordJesus that 23nothing is unclean in itself ; but to him who 24thinksanything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
15
For ifbecause of food your brother is hurt, you are nolonger25walkingaccording to love. 26Do not destroy with your food him for whomChristdied.
16Therefore27do not let what is for you a goodthing be gspoken of as evil ;
17
for the kingdom of God28is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and 29peace and 30joy in the HolySpirit.
18
For he who in this way 31servesChrist is 32acceptable to God and approved by men.
19Sothenhwe 33pursue the things which make for peace and the 34building up of oneanother.
2035Do not teardown the work of God for the sake of food. 36Allthingsindeed are clean, but 37they are evil for the man who eatsiand givesoffense.
2138It is good not to eatmeator to drinkwine, or to do anything by which your brotherstumbles.
22
The faithwhich you have, havejas your ownconvictionbeforeGod. Happy is he who 39does not condemnhimself in what he approves.
23
But 40he who doubts is condemnedif he eats, because his eating is not from faith ; and whatever is not from faith is sin.
