What then ? If 1some adid not believe, their bunbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?
4
2May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found 3a liar, as it is written, "4THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU cARE JUDGED."

But if our unrighteousness d5demonstrates the righteousness of God, 6what shall we say ? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He? (7I am speaking in human terms.)

8May it never be! For otherwise, how will 9God judge the world ?

But if through my lie 10the truth of God abounded to His glory, 11why am I also still being judged as a sinner ?

And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say ), "12Let us do evil that good may come "? eTheir condemnation is just.

What then ? f13Are we better than they? Not at all ; for we have already charged that both 14Jews and 15Greeks are 16all under sin ;

as it is written, "17THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE ;
11
THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD ;
12
ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS ; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."
