18
For I consider that the sufferings of thispresenttime1are not worthy to be compared with the 2glory that is to be revealed to us.
19
For the 3anxiouslonging of the creationwaitseagerly for 4the revealing of the 5sons of God.
20
For the creation6was subjected to 7futility, not willingly, but 8because of Him who subjected it, ain hope21
that 9the creationitselfalso will be setfree from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
22
For we know that the wholecreation10groans and suffers the pains of childbirthtogetheruntilnow.
2311And not only this, but also we ourselves, having12the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves13groanwithinourselves, 14waitingeagerly for our adoption as sons, 15the redemption of our body.
24
For 16in hope we have been saved, but 17hope that is seen is not hope ; for whohopes for what he already sees ?
25
But 18if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we waiteagerly for it.
26
In the sameway the Spiritalsohelps our weakness ; for 19we do not knowhow to pray as we should, but 20the SpiritHimselfintercedes for us with groaningstoodeep for words ;
27
and 21He who searches the heartsknowswhat22the mind of the Spirit is, because He 23intercedes for the bsaintsaccording to the will of God.
28
And we know that cGodcauses24allthings to worktogether for good to those who loveGod, to those who are 25calledaccording to His purpose.
29
For thosewhom He 26foreknew, He also27predestined to become 28conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the 29firstbornamongmanybrethren ;
30
and thesewhom He 30predestined, He also31called ; and thesewhom He called, He also32justified ; and thesewhom He justified, He also33glorified.
3134Whatthen shall we say to thesethings ? 35IfGod is for us, who is against us?
32
He who36did not spare His ownSon, but 37delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freelygive us allthings ?
33Who will bring a chargeagainst38God'select ? 39God is the one who justifies ;
34who is the one who 40condemns ? ChristJesus is He who 41died, yes, rather who was d42raised, who is 43at the righthand of God, whoalso44intercedes for us.
35Who will separate us from 45the love of eChrist ? Will 46tribulation, ordistress, or47persecution, or48famine, or49nakedness, or50peril, orsword ?
36Just as it is written, "51FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATHALLDAY WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED."
37
But in allthesethings we overwhelmingly52conquerthrough53Him who loved us.
38
For I am convinced that neither54death, norlife, nor55angels, norprincipalities, nor56thingspresent, northings to come, norpowers,
39norheight, nordepth, noranyothercreatedthing, will be able to separate us from 57the love of God, which is 58in ChristJesus our Lord.
