Romans 8:31-39 (New American Standard)

View In My Bible
31 1What then shall we say to these things? 2If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who 3did not spare His own Son, but 4delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring a charge against 5God's elect? 6God is the one who justifies; 34 who is the one who 7condemns? Christ Jesus is He who 8died, yes, rather who was a9raised, who is 10at the right hand of God, who also 11intercedes for us. 35 Who will separate us from 12the love of bChrist? Will 13tribulation, or distress, or 14persecution, or 15famine, or 16nakedness, or 17peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written, "18FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly 19conquer through 20Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither 21death, nor life, nor 22angels, nor principalities, nor 23things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from 24the love of God, which is 25in Christ Jesus our Lord.
