But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for 1sounddoctrine.
22Oldermen are to be 3temperate, dignified, sensible, 4sound5in faith, in love, in aperseverance.
3Olderwomenlikewise are to be reverent in their behavior, 6not maliciousgossipsnor7enslaved to muchwine, teachingwhat is good,
4so that they may bencourage the youngwomen to love their husbands, to love their children,
5
to be sensible, pure, 8workers at home, kind, being 9subject to their ownhusbands, 10so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
6Likewiseurge11the youngmen to be csensible ;
7
in allthingsshowyourself to be 12an example of gooddeeds, with dpurity in doctrine, dignified,
8sound in speechwhich is beyondreproach, so13that the opponent will be put to shame, havingnothingbad to sayabout us.
9
Urge 14bondslaves to be subject to their ownmasters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not eargumentative,
10
not pilfering, but showingallgoodfaithso that they will adorn the doctrine of 15God our Savior in everyrespect.
11
For the grace of God has 16appeared, f17bringingsalvation to allmen,
12ginstructing us to denyungodliness and 18worldlydesires and 19to livesensibly, righteously and godly20in the presentage,
13looking for the blessedhope and the 21appearing of the glory of h22our greatGod and Savior, ChristJesus,
14who23gaveHimself for us 24to redeem us from everylawlessdeed, and to 25purify for Himself a 26people for His ownpossession, 27zealous for gooddeeds.
15Thesethingsspeak and 28exhort and 29reprove with alliauthority. 30Let noonedisregard you.
