Also I shook my lap, and said , So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out , and emptied. And all the congregation said , Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.

I also shook out the folds of my robe and said, "In this way may God shake out of his house and possessions every man who does not keep this promise. So may such a man be shaken out and emptied!" At this the whole assembly said, "Amen," and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.

Also I shook out my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labor, that performeth not this promise; even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the assembly said, Amen, and praised Jehovah. And the people did according to this promise.

And shaking out the folds of my robe, I said, So may God send out from his house and his work every man who does not keep this agreement; even so let him be sent out and made as nothing. And all the meeting of the people said, So be it, and gave praise to the Lord. And the people did as they had said.

Shaking out the fold in my garment, I said, "May God thus shake every man from his house and from his work who fails to live up to this promise - may he be shaken out like this and made empty." The whole assembly said, "Amen!" and praised ADONAI; and the people did as they had promised.

Moreover I shook my lap, and said: So may God shake every man that shall not accomplish this word, out of his house, and out of his labours, thus may he be shaken out, and become empty. And all the multitude said: Amen. And they praised God. And the people did according to what was said.

In the same way, may everyone be brushed off and left with nothing." Then the whole congregation said amen and praised the LORD. The people did what they had promised.

Then I took off the sash I was wearing around my waist and shook it out. "This is how God will shake any of you who don't keep your promise," I said. "God will take away your houses and everything you own, and will leave you with nothing." Everyone who was present said, "Amen!" and praised the Lord. And the leaders kept their promise.

Et je secouai mon manteau, en disant: Que Dieu secoue de la m?me mani?re hors de sa maison et de ses biens tout homme qui n'aura point tenu parole, et qu'ainsi cet homme soit secou? et laiss? ? vide! Toute l'assembl?e dit: Amen! On c?l?bra l'?ternel. Et le peuple tint parole.

I also shook out the front of my garment and said, "Thus may God shake out every man from his house and from his possessions who does not fulfill this promise ; even thus may he be shaken out and emptied." And all the assembly said, "Amen !" And they praised the LORD. Then the people did according to this promise.

Je secouai aussi mon sein, et je dis: Que Dieu secoue ainsi de sa maison et de son travail, tout homme qui n'aura point accompli cette parole, et qu'il soit ainsi secoué et vidé! Et toute l'assemblée répondit: Amen! Et ils louèrent l'Éternel; et le peuple fit selon cette parole.

Everyone gave a wholehearted "Yes, we'll do it!" and praised God. And the people did what they promised. "Remember in My Favor, O My God"
