6 yo, el Señor
de los Ejércitos Celestiales, intervendré a tu favor
con trueno, terremoto y gran ruido,
con torbellino, tormenta y fuego consumidor.

Isaiah 29:6

Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder,
and with earthquake, and great noise
That is, not the multitude of strangers and terrible ones, unless they could be understood of the wicked among the Jews; but thou Ariel, or Jerusalem, shalt be punished by the Lord of hosts; for this visitation or punishment was from him, for their sins and iniquities; the Romans were only the instruments he made use of, and the executioners of his vengeance; which was attended with thunder in the heavens, a shaking of the earth, and a great noise or voice heard in the temple, saying, let us depart hence; at which time comets were seen in the heavens, and chariots and armed men in the air, and one of the gates of the temple opened of itself ^F18: it is added, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire;
with which the temple was burnt by the Roman army, when it came in like a storm and tempest, and carried all before it.

4 Entonces, tú hablarás desde lo profundo de la tierra;
tus palabras saldrán desde bien abajo, desde el polvo.
Tu voz susurrará desde el suelo
como un fantasma invocado de la tumba.

5 »Pero de pronto, tus despiadados enemigos serán aplastados
como el polvo más fino.
Tus numerosos atacantes serán expulsados
como la paja ante el viento.
De repente, en un instante,

de los Ejércitos Celestiales, intervendré a tu favor
con trueno, terremoto y gran ruido,
con torbellino, tormenta y fuego consumidor.

7 Todas las naciones que pelean contra Jerusalén
¡desaparecerán como un sueño!
Los que atacan sus murallas
se esfumarán como una visión en la noche.

8 La persona con hambre sueña con comida,
pero se despierta todavía con hambre.
La persona con sed sueña con beber,
pero cuando llega la mañana, sigue desfallecida de sed.
Así será con tus enemigos;
con los que ataquen al monte Sión».
