23 Entonces tomaron las cosas de la carpa y se las llevaron a Josué y a los demás israelitas. Luego las pusieron sobre el suelo, en la presencia del Señor

Joshua 7:23

And they took them out of the midst of the tent
Out of the place, hole, or pit in which they were hid:

and brought them to Joshua and to the children of Israel;
to Joshua as the chief ruler, and to the elders and heads of the tribes assembled together:

and laid them out before the Lord;
or "poured them out" ^F15; the golden wedge, out of the garment in which it was wrapped, and the two hundred shekels of silver found under it: it seems as if these were poured or laid out separately upon the ground before the tabernacle, where the ark of the Lord was, they belonging to the spoils which were devoted to him; as well as hereby they were plainly seen by the Israelites, that these were the very things which Achan had confessed.

21 Entre el botín, vi un hermoso manto de Babilonia,
doscientas monedas de plata
y una barra de oro que pesaba más de medio kilo.
Los deseaba tanto que los tomé. Está todo enterrado debajo de mi carpa; la plata la enterré aún más profundo que el resto de las cosas.

22 Así que Josué envió a algunos hombres para que investigaran. Ellos fueron corriendo a la carpa y encontraron allí escondidos los objetos robados, tal como Acán había dicho, con la plata enterrada debajo del resto.

23 Entonces tomaron las cosas de la carpa y se las llevaron a Josué y a los demás israelitas. Luego las pusieron sobre el suelo, en la presencia del Señor

24 Después, Josué y todos los israelitas tomaron a Acán junto con la plata, el manto y la barra de oro; también tomaron a sus hijos e hijas, su ganado, sus asnos, sus ovejas, sus cabras, su carpa y todo lo que él tenía y los llevaron al valle de Acor.

25 Luego Josué le dijo a Acán: «¿Por qué nos has traído esta desgracia? Ahora el Señor
te traerá desgracia a ti». Entonces todos los israelitas apedrearon a Acán y a su familia, y quemaron los cuerpos.
