Then the LORD said to Aaron, "I myself have put you in charge of the offerings presented to me; all the holy offerings the Israelites give me I give to you and your sons as your portion1 and regular share.29
You are to have the part of the most holy offerings3 that is kept from the fire. From all the gifts they bring me as most holy offerings, whether grain4 or sin5 or guilt offerings,6 that part belongs to you and your sons.
Eat it as something most holy; every male shall eat it.7 You must regard it as holy.811
"This also is yours: whatever is set aside from the gifts of all the wave offerings9 of the Israelites. I give this to you and your sons and daughters as your regular share.10 Everyone in your household who is ceremonially clean11 may eat it.
"I give you all the finest olive oil and all the finest new wine and grain12 they give the LORD13 as the firstfruits of their harvest.1413
All the land's firstfruits that they bring to the LORD will be yours.15 Everyone in your household who is ceremonially clean may eat it.1614
"Everything in Israel that is devoteda to the LORD17 is yours.
The first offspring of every womb, both man and animal, that is offered to the LORD is yours.18 But you must redeem19 every firstborn20 son and every firstborn male of unclean animals.2116
When they are a month old,22 you must redeem them at the redemption price set at five shekelsb23 of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel,24 which weighs twenty gerahs.2517
"But you must not redeem the firstborn of an ox, a sheep or a goat; they are holy.26 Sprinkle their blood27 on the altar and burn their fat28 as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.2918
Their meat is to be yours, just as the breast of the wave offering30 and the right thigh are yours.31
