Isaiah 39:5

Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah
Now he begins to let him know that he came not of himself, and that he did not ask these questions to gratify his own curiosity, but that he came from the Lord, and with a word of rebuke from him: hear the word of the Lord of hosts;
a greater King than thou art, who art so elated with thy riches, and grandeur, and fame; or than the king of Babylon, whose ambassadors these are; even the King of kings, and Lord of armies above and below, and who is able to make good every word that is spoken by him, and therefore should be solemnly attended to.

3 Entonces el profeta Isaías fue a ver al rey Ezequías y le preguntó:—¿Qué querían esos hombres? ¿De dónde vinieron?—De un país lejano —respondió Ezequías—. Vinieron a verme desde Babilonia.

4 —¿Y qué vieron en tu palacio? —preguntó el profeta.—Vieron todo lo que hay en él —contestó Ezequías—. No hay nada en mis tesoros que yo no les haya mostrado.

5 Entonces Isaías le dijo:—Oye la palabra del SEÑORTodopoderoso:

6 “Sin duda vendrán días en que todo lo que hay en tu palacio, y todo lo que tus antepasados atesoraron hasta el día de hoy, será llevado a Babilonia. No quedará nada —dice el SEÑOR—.

7 Y algunos de tus hijos y de tus descendientes serán llevados para servir como eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia”.
