35 These are the Bnei Ephrayim after their Mishpekhot: of Shutelach, the Mishpakhat HaShutalechi; of Becher, the Mishpakhat HaBacheri; of Tachan, the Mishpakhat HaTachani.

Bamidbar 26:35 Meaning and Commentary

Ver. 35-37. These are the sons of Ephrain, after their families,
&c.] Which were but three, the Shuthalhite, the Bachrite, and the Tahanite, only from the former sprung another family, called the Eranite; the number of the whole was 32,500; there was a decrease in this tribe of 8000.
