3 I urge you, as I did when I was on my way to Macedonia, to remain in Ephesus so that you may instruct certain people not to teach any different doctrine, 3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer
4 and not to occupy themselves with myths and endless genealogies that promote speculations rather than the divine training that is known by faith. 4 nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God's work--which is by faith.

10 fornicators, sodomites, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching 10 for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers--and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine
