In days to come, the people of Israel will sing, "Lord, we will praise you. You were angry with us. But now your anger has turned away from us. And you have brought us comfort. 1 In that day you will say: "I will praise you, O LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.
God, you are the one who saves us. We will trust in you. Then we won't be afraid. LORD, you give us strength. We sing about you. Lord, you have saved us." 2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation."
People of Israel, he will save you. That will bring you joy like water that is brought up from wells. 3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
In days to come, the people of Israel will sing, "Give thanks to the Lord. Worship him. Tell the nations what he has done. Announce how honored he is. 4 In that day you will say: "Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.
Sing to the Lord. He has done glorious things. Let it be known all over the world. 5 Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.
People of Zion, give a loud shout! Sing with joy! The Holy One of Israel is among you. And he is great." 6 Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you."
