Lexham English Bible (LEB) New International Version (NIV)
I will bless Yahweh at all times; his praise [shall be] in my mouth continually. 1 I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.
My soul makes its boast in Yahweh; let the humble hear and be glad. 2 My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt his name together. 3 Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
I sought Yahweh and he answered me, and from all my terrors he delivered me. 4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to him and were radiant, and their faces shall not be ashamed. 5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor [man] called and Yahweh heard, and saved him from all his troubles. 6 This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of Yahweh encamps around [those who] fear him, and he rescues them. 7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
Taste and see that Yahweh [is] good; blessed [is] the man [who] takes refuge in him. 8 Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
Fear Yahweh, [you] his saints, for there is no lack for [those who] fear him. 9 Fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.
[The] young lions are in want and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh will not lack for any good thing. 10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
Come, [you] children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of Yahweh. 11 Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Who [is] the man who desires life, who loves [many] days in order to see good? 12 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. 13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.
Turn from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it. 14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of Yahweh [are] toward [the] righteous, and his ears toward their cry for help. 15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry;
The face of Yahweh [is] against evildoers, to cut off the remembrance of them from [the] earth. 16 the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
They cry out and Yahweh hears and delivers them from all [of] their troubles. 17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
Yahweh [is] near to [those who are] heartbroken and saves [those who are] crushed in spirit. 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Many [are the] distresses of [the] righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. 19 A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;
[He] protects all his bones; not one of them is broken. 20 he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.
Evil will slay [the] wicked, and [those who] hate [the] righteous will incur guilt. 21 Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
Yahweh redeems the life of his servants, and none who take refuge in him will incur guilt. 22 The LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
