New King James Version (NKJV) New International Version (NIV)
So the Lord said to Moses: "See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. 1 Then the LORD said to Moses, "See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.
You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land. 2 You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country.
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt. 3 But I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and though I multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt,
But Pharaoh will not heed you, so that I may lay My hand on Egypt and bring My armies and My people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. 4 he will not listen to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and with mighty acts of judgment I will bring out my divisions, my people the Israelites.
And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them." 5 And the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it."
Then Moses and Aaron did so; just as the Lord commanded them, so they did. 6 Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD commanded them.
