New Living Translation (NLT) New International Version (NIV)
When Noah woke up from his drunken stupor, he learned what Ham, his youngest son, had done. 24 When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him,
Then he cursed the descendants of Canaan, the son of Ham: "A curse on the Canaanites! May they be the lowest of servants to the descendants of Shem and Japheth." 25 he said, "Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers."
Then Noah said, "May Shem be blessed by the LORD my God; and may Canaan be his servant. 26 He also said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem.
May God enlarge the territory of Japheth, and may he share the prosperity of Shem; and let Canaan be his servant." 27 May God extend the territory of Japheth; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be his slave."
Noah lived another 350 years after the Flood. 28 After the flood Noah lived 350 years.
He was 950 years old when he died. 29 Altogether, Noah lived 950 years, and then he died.
