Now God did not subject the coming world, about which we are speaking, to angels. 5 It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking.
But someone has testified somewhere, "What are human beings that you are mindful of them, or mortals, that you care for them? 6 But there is a place where someone has testified: "What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
You have made them for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned them with glory and honor, 7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor
subjecting all things under their feet." Now in subjecting all things to them, God left nothing outside their control. As it is, we do not yet see everything in subjection to them, 8 and put everything under his feet." In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him.
but we do see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
