1 Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 But early in the morning he went back to the Temple, and all the people came to him, and he sat and taught them. 2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them.

6 They were asking this to trick Jesus so that they could have some charge against him. But Jesus bent over and started writing on the ground with his finger. 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
