Mark 6:7-13

RHE

NIV

7 And he called the twelve; and began to send them two and two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.
7 Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
8 And he commanded them that they should take nothing for the way, but a staff only; no scrip, no bread, nor money in their purse,
8 These were his instructions: “Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts.
9 But to be shod with sandals, and that they should not put on two coats.
9 Wear sandals but not an extra shirt.
10 And he said to them: Wheresoever you shall enter into an house, there abide till you depart from that place.
10 Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town.
11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you; going forth from thence, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony to them.
11 And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
12 And going forth they preached men should do penance:
12 They went out and preached that people should repent.
13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
13 They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.
