And they came to Beth-sa'ida. And some people brought to him a blind man, and begged him to touch him. 22 They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him.
And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the village; and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands upon him, he asked him, "Do you see anything?" 23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man's eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, "Do you see anything?"
And he looked up and said, "I see men; but they look like trees, walking." 24 He looked up and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking around."
Then again he laid his hands upon his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and saw everything clearly. 25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
And he sent him away to his home, saying, "Do not even enter the village." 26 Jesus sent him home, saying, "Don't go into the village. "
