Hebrew Names Version (HNV) New International Version (NIV)
The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying, 1 The LORD said to Moses,
Command the children of Yisra'el, and tell them, My offering, my food for my offerings made by fire, of a sweet savor to me, shall you observe to offer to me in their due season. 2 "Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: 'See that you present to me at the appointed time the food for my offerings made by fire, as an aroma pleasing to me.'
You shall tell them, This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to the LORD: he-lambs a year old without blemish, two day by day, for a continual burnt offering. 3 Say to them: 'This is the offering made by fire that you are to present to the LORD: two lambs a year old without defect, as a regular burnt offering each day.
The one lamb shall you offer in the morning, and the other lamb shall you offer at even; 4 Prepare one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,
and the tenth part of an efah of fine flour for a meal-offering, mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil. 5 together with a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives.
It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in Mount Sinai for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to the LORD. 6 This is the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
The drink-offering of it shall be the fourth part of a hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shall you pour out a drink-offering of strong drink to the LORD. 7 The accompanying drink offering is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the LORD at the sanctuary.
The other lamb shall you offer at even: as the meal-offering of the morning, and as the drink-offering of it, you shall offer it, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD. 8 Prepare the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you prepare in the morning. This is an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
On the day of Shabbat two he-lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenth parts [of an efah] of fine flour for a meal-offering, mixed with oil, and the drink-offering of it: 9 " 'On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect, together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil.
this is the burnt offering of every Shabbat, besides the continual burnt-offering, and the drink-offering of it. 10 This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
In the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering to the LORD: two young bulls, and one ram, seven he-lambs a year old without blemish; 11 " 'On the first of every month, present to the LORD a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
and three tenth parts [of an efah] of fine flour for a meal-offering, mixed with oil, for each bull; and two tenth parts of fine flour for a meal-offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram; 12 With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil;
and a tenth part of fine flour mixed with oil for a meal-offering to every lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to the LORD. 13 and with each lamb, a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. This is for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
Their drink-offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, and the third part of a hin for the ram, and the fourth part of a hin for a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year. 14 With each bull there is to be a drink offering of half a hin of wine; with the ram, a third of a hin; and with each lamb, a quarter of a hin. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon during the year.
One male goat for a sin-offering to the LORD; it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering, and the drink-offering of it. 15 Besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering, one male goat is to be presented to the LORD as a sin offering.
In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, is the LORD's Pesach. 16 " 'On the fourteenth day of the first month the LORD's Passover is to be held.
On the fifteenth day of this month shall be a feast: seven days shall matzah be eaten. 17 On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days eat bread made without yeast.
In the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work; 18 On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
but you shall offer an offering made by fire, a burnt offering to the LORD: two young bulls, and one ram, and seven he-lambs a year old; they shall be to you without blemish; 19 Present to the LORD an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
and their meal-offering, fine flour mixed with oil: three tenth parts shall you offer for a bull, and two tenth parts for the ram; 20 With each bull prepare a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
a tenth part shall you offer for every lamb of the seven lambs; 21 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
and one male goat for a sin-offering, to make atonement for you. 22 Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.
You shall offer these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering. 23 Prepare these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering.
After this manner you shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of the offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD: it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering, and the drink-offering of it. 24 In this way prepare the food for the offering made by fire every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the LORD; it is to be prepared in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
On the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work. 25 On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
Also in the day of the first fruits, when you offer a new meal-offering to the LORD in your [feast of] weeks, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work; 26 " 'On the day of firstfruits, when you present to the LORD an offering of new grain during the Feast of Weeks, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
but you shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savor to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, seven he-lambs a year old; 27 Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
and their meal-offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for each bull, two tenth parts for the one ram, 28 With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
a tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs; 29 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
one male goat, to make atonement for you. 30 Include one male goat to make atonement for you.
Besides the continual burnt offering, and the meal-offering of it, you shall offer them (they shall be to you without blemish), and their drink-offerings. 31 Prepare these together with their drink offerings, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its grain offering. Be sure the animals are without defect.
