1 The Lord said to Moses, 1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 "Give this command to the Israelites. Tell them: 'Bring me food offerings made by fire, for a smell that is pleasing to me, and be sure to bring them at the right time.' 2 "Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: 'See that you present to me at the appointed time the food for my offerings made by fire, as an aroma pleasing to me.'
3 Say to them, 'These are the offerings you must bring to the Lord: two male lambs, a year old, as a burnt offering each day. They must have nothing wrong with them. 3 Say to them: 'This is the offering made by fire that you are to present to the LORD: two lambs a year old without defect, as a regular burnt offering each day.
4 Offer one lamb in the morning and the other lamb at twilight. 4 Prepare one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,
5 Also bring a grain offering of two quarts of fine flour, mixed with one quart of oil from pressed olives. 5 together with a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives.
6 This is the daily burnt offering which began at Mount Sinai; its smell is pleasing to the Lord. 6 This is the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
7 Offer one quart of wine with each lamb as a drink offering; pour it out to the Lord at the Holy Place. 7 The accompanying drink offering is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the LORD at the sanctuary.
8 Offer the second lamb at twilight. As in the morning, also give a grain offering and a drink offering. This offering is made by fire, and its smell is pleasing to the Lord. 8 Prepare the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you prepare in the morning. This is an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
9 "'On the Sabbath day you must give two male lambs, a year old, that have nothing wrong with them. Also give a drink offering and a grain offering; the grain offering must be four quarts of fine flour mixed with olive oil. 9 " 'On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect, together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil.
10 This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the daily burnt offering and drink offering. 10 This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
11 "'On the first day of each month bring a burnt offering to the Lord. This will be two young bulls, one male sheep, and seven male lambs a year old, and they must have nothing wrong with them. 11 " 'On the first of every month, present to the LORD a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
12 Give a grain offering with each bull of six quarts of fine flour mixed with olive oil. Also give a grain offering with the male sheep. It must be four quarts of fine flour mixed with olive oil. 12 With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil;
13 And give a grain offering with each lamb of two quarts of fine flour mixed with olive oil. This is a burnt offering, and its smell is pleasing to the Lord. 13 and with each lamb, a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. This is for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
14 The drink offering with each bull will be two quarts of wine, with the male sheep it will be one and one-third quarts, and with each lamb it will be one quart of wine. This is the burnt offering that must be offered each month of the year. 14 With each bull there is to be a drink offering of half a hin of wine; with the ram, a third of a hin; and with each lamb, a quarter of a hin. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon during the year.
15 Besides the daily burnt offerings and drink offerings, bring a sin offering of one goat to the Lord. 15 Besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering, one male goat is to be presented to the LORD as a sin offering.
16 "'The Lord's Passover will be on the fourteenth day of the first month. 16 " 'On the fourteenth day of the first month the LORD's Passover is to be held.
17 The Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on the fifteenth day of that month. For seven days, you may eat only bread made without yeast. 17 On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days eat bread made without yeast.
18 Have a holy meeting on the first day of the festival, and don't work that day. 18 On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
19 Bring to the Lord an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one male sheep, and seven male lambs a year old. They must have nothing wrong with them. 19 Present to the LORD an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
20 With each bull give a grain offering of six quarts of fine flour mixed with olive oil. With the male sheep it must be four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil. 20 With each bull prepare a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
21 With each of the seven lambs, it must be two quarts of fine flour mixed with oil. 21 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
22 Bring one goat as a sin offering, to remove your sins so you will belong to God. 22 Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.
23 Bring these offerings in addition to the burnt offerings you give every morning. 23 Prepare these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering.
24 So bring food for the offering made by fire each day for seven days, for a smell that is pleasing to the Lord. Do it in addition to the daily burnt offering and its drink offering. 24 In this way prepare the food for the offering made by fire every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the LORD; it is to be prepared in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
25 On the seventh day have a holy meeting, and don't work that day. 25 On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
26 "'On the day of firstfruits when you bring new grain to the Lord during the Feast of Weeks, have a holy meeting. Don't work that day. 26 " 'On the day of firstfruits, when you present to the LORD an offering of new grain during the Feast of Weeks, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
27 Bring this burnt offering to the Lord: two young bulls, one male sheep, and seven male lambs a year old. This smell is pleasing to the Lord. 27 Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
28 Also, with each bull give a grain offering of six quarts of fine flour mixed with oil. With the male sheep, it must be four quarts of flour, 28 With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
29 and with each of the seven lambs offer two quarts of flour. 29 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
30 Offer one male goat to remove your sins so you will belong to God. 30 Include one male goat to make atonement for you.
31 Bring these offerings and their drink offerings in addition to the daily burnt offering and its grain offering. The animals must have nothing wrong with them. 31 Prepare these together with their drink offerings, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its grain offering. Be sure the animals are without defect.
