World English Bible (WEB) New International Version (NIV)
Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, my beloved. 1 Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends!
I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord. 2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord.
Yes, I beg you also, true yoke-fellow, help these women, for they labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. 3 Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice! 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Let your mildness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
