I will sing of lovingkindness and justice, To You, O LORD, I will sing praises. 1 I will sing of your love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will sing praise.
I will give heed to the blameless way. When will You come to me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. 2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life-- when will you come to me? I will walk in my house with blameless heart.
I will set no worthless thing before my eyes ; I hate the work of those who fall away ; It shall not fasten its grip on me. 3 I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me.
A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil. 4 Men of perverse heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with evil.
Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy ; No one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart will I endure. 5 Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, him will I put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, him will I not endure.
My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; He who walks in a blameless way is the one who will minister to me. 6 My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he whose walk is blameless will minister to me.
He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house ; He who speaks falsehood shall not maintain his position before me. 7 No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.
Every morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, So as to cut off from the city of the LORD all those who do iniquity. 8 Every morning I will put to silence all the wicked in the land; I will cut off every evildoer from the city of the LORD.
