World English Bible (WEB) New International Version (NIV)
Oh come, let us sing to Yahweh. Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! 1 Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let us make a joyful noise to him with psalms! 2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
For Yahweh is a great God, A great King above all gods. 3 For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods.
In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his. 4 In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him.
The sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land. 5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Yahweh, our Maker, 6 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
For he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today, oh that you would hear his voice! 7 for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if you hear his voice,
Don't harden your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness, 8 do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the desert,
When your fathers tempted me, Tested me, and saw my work. 9 where your fathers tested and tried me, though they had seen what I did.
Forty long years I was grieved with that generation, And said, "It is a people that errs in their heart. They have not known my ways." 10 For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, "They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways."
Therefore I swore in my wrath, "They won't enter into my rest." 11 So I declared on oath in my anger, "They shall never enter my rest."
