122 Guarantee good things for your servant. Please don't let the arrogant oppress me.
122
Ensure your servant’s well-being; do not let the arrogant oppress me.
123 My eyes are worn out looking for your saving help— looking for your word that will set things right.
123
My eyes fail, looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise.
124 Act toward your servant according to your faithful love. Teach me your statutes!
124
Deal with your servant according to your love and teach me your decrees.
125 I'm your servant! Help me understand so I can know your laws.
125
I am your servant; give me discernment that I may understand your statutes.
126 It is time for the LORD to do something! Your Instruction has been broken.
126
It is time for you to act, LORD; your law is being broken.
127 But I love your commandments more than gold, even more than pure gold.
127
Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold,
128 That's why I walk straight by every single one of your precepts. That's why I hate every false path.
128
and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path.
