1 For the choir director: A psalm of David. In times of trouble, may the LORD respond to your cry. May the God of Israel keep you safe from all harm.

1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

2 May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem.

2 May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.

3 May he remember all your gifts and look favorably on your burnt offerings. Interlude
