3 And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that <em>was</em> in Geba, and the Philistines heard <em>of it</em>. And Saul caused the shofar to be blown throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.

3 Jonathan attacked the Philistine outpost at Geba, and the Philistines heard about it. Then Saul had the trumpet blown throughout the land and said, “Let the Hebrews hear!”
