1 Corinthians 15:1-11

ESV 1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, NIV 1 Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. ESV 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--unless you believed in vain. NIV 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. ESV 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, NIV 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, ESV 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, NIV 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, ESV 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. NIV 5 and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. ESV 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. NIV 6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. ESV 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. NIV 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, ESV 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. NIV 8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born. ESV 9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. NIV 9 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. ESV 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. NIV 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. ESV 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. NIV 11 Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
