1 Corinthians 3:5-9

NLT 5 After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. NIV 5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe--as the Lord has assigned to each his task. NLT 6 I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. NIV 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. NLT 7 It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. NIV 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. NLT 8 The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. NIV 8 The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. NLT 9 For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building. NIV 9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.
