4 En su presencia fueron destruidos los altares de los baales y los altares sobre los que se quemaba incienso; también fueron despedazadas las imágenes para el culto a Aserá, y los ídolos y las imágenes de metal fundido fueron reducidos a polvo, el cual fue esparcido sobre las tumbas de los que les habían ofrecido sacrificios.

4 Under his direction the altars of the Baals were torn down; he cut to pieces the incense altars that were above them, and smashed the Asherah poles and the idols. These he broke to pieces and scattered over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.
