2 Corinthians 6:1-11

NAS 1 And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain - NIV 1 As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. NAS 2 for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION "- NIV 2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation. NAS 3 giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited, NIV 3 We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. NAS 4 but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God, in much endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses, NIV 4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; NAS 5 in beatings, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in hunger, NIV 5 in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; NAS 6 in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love, NIV 6 in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; NAS 7 in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left, NIV 7 in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; NAS 8 by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true; NIV 8 through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; NAS 9 as unknown yet well-known, as dying yet behold, we live; as punished yet not put to death, NIV 9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; NAS 10 as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things. NIV 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. NAS 11 Our mouth has spoken freely to you, O Corinthians, our heart is opened wide. NIV 11 We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you.
