WYC 25 He restored the terms of Israel, from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of (the) wilderness, by the word of the Lord God of Israel, which he spake by his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai, (that is,) by Jonah, the prophet, that was of Gath, that is in Hepher. (He restored the borders of Israel, from the entering of Hamath unto the Sea of the Wilderness, that is, the Dead Sea, according to the word of the Lord God of Israel, which he spoke by his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai, that is, by the prophet Jonah, who was of Gath-hepher.) NIV 25 He was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo Hamath to the Sea of the Arabah, in accordance with the word of the LORD, the God of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.
