18 Then the king made a great banquet unto all his princes and his slaves, the banquet of Esther; and he made a release to the provinces <em>of their taxes</em> and gave gifts according to the power of the king.
18 And the king gave a great banquet, Esther’s banquet, for all his nobles and officials. He proclaimed a holiday throughout the provinces and distributed gifts with royal liberality.
