1 Así dijo el SEÑOR: Guardad derecho, y haced justicia; porque cercana está mi salud para venir, y mi justicia para manifestarse.

This is what the LORD says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
2 Bienaventurado el hombre, que esto hiciere; y el hijo del hombre, que esto abrazare; que guarda el sábado de contaminarlo, y que guarda su mano de hacer todo mal.

Blessed is the one who does this— the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil.”
3 Y el hijo del extranjero, allegado al SEÑOR, no hable diciendo: Me apartará totalmente el SEÑOR de su pueblo. Ni diga el eunuco: He aquí yo <I>soy</I> árbol seco.

Let no foreigner who is bound to the LORD say, “The LORD will surely exclude me from his people.” And let no eunuch complain, “I am only a dry tree.”
4 Porque así dijo el SEÑOR a los eunucos que guardaren mis sábados, y escogieren lo que <I>yo</I> quiero, y abrazaren mi pacto:

For this is what the LORD says: “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant—
5 <I>Yo</I> les daré lugar en mi casa, y dentro de mis muros, y nombre, mejor que a los hijos y a los hijas; nombre perpetuo les daré que nunca perecerá.

to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will endure forever.
6 Y a los hijos de los extranjeros, que se allegaren al SEÑOR, para ministrarle, y que amaren el nombre del SEÑOR, para ser sus siervos; todos los que guardaren el Sábado de contaminarlo, y abrazaren mi Pacto,

And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORDto minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant—
7 <I>yo</I> los llevaré al monte de mi santidad; y los recrearé en la Casa de mi oración. Sus holocaustos y sus sacrificios serán aceptos sobre mi altar; porque mi Casa, Casa de oración será llamada de todos los pueblos.

these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
8 Dice el Señor DIOS, el que junta los echados de Israel, Aun juntaré sobre él sus ayuntados.

The Sovereign LORD declares— he who gathers the exiles of Israel: “I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered.”
9 Todas las bestias del campo, todas las bestias del monte, venid a devorar.

Come, all you beasts of the field, come and devour, all you beasts of the forest!
10 Sus atalayas <I>son</I> ciegos; todos ellos <I>son</I> ignorantes; todos ellos <I>son</I> perros mudos, no pueden ladrar; dormidos, echados, aman el dormir.

Israel’s watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they love to sleep.
11 Y esos perros ansiosos son insaciables; y los mismos pastores no supieron entender; todos ellos miran a sus caminos, cada uno a su provecho, <I>cada uno</I> por su cabo.

They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, they seek their own gain.
12 Venid, <I>dicen</I> , tomaré vino, embriaguémonos de sidra; y será el día de mañana como éste, <I>o</I> mucho más excelente.

“Come,” each one cries, “let me get wine! Let us drink our fill of beer! And tomorrow will be like today, or even far better.”
