Psalms 31:1-6

TMB

NIV

1 <<To the chief musician: A Psalm of David.>> In Thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Thy righteousness.
1 In you, LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.
2 Bow down Thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be Thou my strong rock, a house of defense to save me.
2 Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me.
3 For Thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for the sake of Thy name, lead me and guide me.
3 Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me, for Thou art my strength.
4 Keep me free from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge.
5 Into Thine hand I commit my spirit; Thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
5 Into your hands I commit my spirit; deliver me, LORD, my faithful God.
6 I have hated them that have regard for lying vanities; but I trust in the LORD.
6 I hate those who cling to worthless idols; as for me, I trust in the LORD.
