Colossians 3:11-21

NAS 11 a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all. NIV 11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. NAS 12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; NIV 12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. NAS 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. NIV 13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. NAS 14 Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. NIV 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. NAS 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. NAS 17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. NAS 18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord . NIV 18 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. NAS 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them. NIV 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. NAS 20 Children, be obedient to your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord . NIV 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. NAS 21 Fathers, do not exasperate your children, so that they will not lose heart. NIV 21 Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
