2 For thou <em>art</em> a holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD has chosen thee to be a unique people unto himself from among all the peoples that <em>are</em> upon the face of the earth.
2 for you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the LORD has chosen you to be his treasured possession.
