KJV 9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? NIV 9 What does the worker gain from his toil? KJV 10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. NIV 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. KJV 11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. NIV 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. KJV 12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice , and to do good in his life. NIV 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. KJV 13 And also that every man should eat and drink , and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. NIV 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil--this is the gift of God. KJV 14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth , it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. NIV 15 Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account. KJV 16 And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. NIV 16 And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment--wickedness was there, in the place of justice--wickedness was there. KJV 17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. NIV 17 I thought in my heart, "God will bring to judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time for every deed." KJV 18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. NIV 18 I also thought, "As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals.
